1. Why was Madame Loisel upset when her husband gave her the invitation to the party?

Madame Loisel was upset because she didnt have nothing fancy to wear "What do you think i have go in" irritated and impatienly she said.

2.What seems to be the main conflict in the story?

The main conflict in the story is that Madame Loisel is very greety and she wants to have what she dosent have to show it off, she wants people to envy her of her wealth that she dosent have so she take everything the husband trys to do bad, because she thinks she deserves more than what she has.
